Private Utilities

Below are some examples of private utilities, both for the city (such as the fire hydrant), business owners (parking lot light or LP tank) and home owners (satellite dishes). Anything BEYOND the meter is YOUR responsibility. For example, if your have what they describe as curbside meter (common case for electric service for people in the rural areas) then from that meter to your house is up to you to locate. Another case involving gas service, such as those who have dryer bins. Again, anything beyond the meter is your responsibility.
